Spectralis
Commerce Systems Inc. attended Communitech's 2002
eBiz Summit for the first time on Wednesday, May
8, 2002.
"Our
goal was to get exposure in our local community,
and introduce potential customers to our product
line. We definitely accomplished both of these
goals," says Ruth Casselman, Spectralis'
Project Manager. "It is important to us to
stay in touch with the direction that technology
is going and being out there in a public forum,
talking to local business people, gives us a hands-on
approach to determining the focus of our new product
lines."
The
Summit included numerous exhibitors from all aspects
of Telecommunications, E-Commerce Development,
Software Development, IT Training, Management
Consulting and other areas of technology.
Spectralis
awarded two prizes to show attendees:
- a
Winter 5-pocket Spectrum Jacket was awarded
to the Walter Fedy Partnership
- One
year of Web advertising and promotion on Waterloo.com
- was awarded to the Waterloo Branch of the
Royal Bank of Canada.
Spectralis
has recently launched a Web-based Business Productivity
Management (BPM) Solution for Medium to Large
businesses. "Our target customer is anyone
looking for centralized Customer or Product information,
with an easy-to-use, globally accessible Interface,"
says Casselman. "This application is ideal
for companies looking to improve their Customer
Service by providing self-service to some or all
of the daily services that they provide."
Spectralis
Commerce Systems plans to attend other industry
Trade Shows in the late Summer and early Fall.
